Can I clean my mattress? Does it have removable covers?

As Tempur material itself cannot be washed, sponged or dry cleaned, a good mattress protector is crucial to prolonging its lifespan.
Are they recyclable?
When reaching the end of its lifespan, the polyurethane foam is cleaned, shredded and reused in a variety of products such as carpet underlay, car seats and insulation panels.
